I stare at her stuck frozen in time,

her eyes sit still glaring back at mine.

Her face, that look,

her innocence swiftly took,

stolen by a thief, dismantled by a crook.

I go back in time

to the days before her life was taken by mine.

The days before she could conceive,

the days before me.
